How to Factory Reset Garmin Forerunner 10

To restore your Garmin device to factory settings, you need to follow the steps given below :

  • Press and hold the light button, to turn OFF the device.
  • Press and hold the Enter button on the top right and the Down button on the bottom right of the device, together.
  • Power ON the device again and press and release the light button.
  • Release the Enter button after the first beep sound.
  • Release the Down button after the second beep sound.

If you turn on the device and it directs you to setup wizard, then the reset was successful. If not? Follow the steps again until the device directs you to setup wizard.

Don’t forget to leave your device in a clear sky for about 20 minutes to help it receive satellite data.
